What client challenges were you trying to solve?
Our client was searching for a partner who could mobilize to site with available equipment within a very short timeframe. RKEMS was able to meet the needs of the client with available equipment that was well maintained and ready to roll within two weeks.

What feature of our services/product was most important?
Customer service, readiness of equipment, quality of equipment and communication between contractor (EMS) and client. 

How has our solution helped since its implementation?

First, RKEMS delivered and installed (1) 57’ mobile kitchen, (1) 32’ dishwasher and (1) 180kva generator. Within 1 week of delivery, Taylor’s required additional kitchen support and RKEMS mobilized (2) 53’ kitchen trailers within 24 hours and delivered to site to install within 36 hours. Client was very appreciative of RKSMS professionalism and knowledge of the industry needs to deal with quick decisions, high stress and ever changing environment.

Past Performance

2021

  • RK EMS deployed to support response and recovery efforts following landfall of Hurricane Ida near New Orleans on the anniversary of H. Katrina 16 years earlier. RK supplied four meals per day across multiple locations feeding roughly 900 linemen and recovery professionals.
  • RK EMS provided roughly 220,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power plus food service in support of a training exercise.
  • RK EMS provided roughly 20,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power for billeting and dining for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Ft. Bliss.
  • RK EMS provided roughly 60,000 sq. ft. of tenting, floors, HVAC and Power for billeting and dining for soldiers to quarantine before coming into base population at Ft. Bliss.

2020

  • RK EMS supported two sites containing 700 and 500 personnel, providing tenting and flooring as well as catering services and boxed meals for disaster response following Hurricane Laura.
  • RK EMS provided Temporary Structure utilized for dining and billeting in Port Arthur, LA, supporting multiple sites ranging from 250 to 1,000 personnel for disaster response following Hurricane Laura.

2018-2019

  • RK EMS set up approximately 100,000+ square feet of tenting, flooring, power/HVAC for intake, dining facilities, food prep and mobile kitchen. Provided all onsite feeding for roughly 2,000 people daily.
  • RK EMS In Spring 2018 responded to a need for onsite food service and basecamp support services to serve a population of 5,100 persons over a 212-day period.
