Our food and shelter service providers ensure the dignity and respect of persons at all times, and work to advance empathy and compassion during these times of need.

Our teams are ready to quickly respond when activated, with regional deployment and staging of relief and recovery assets before full-scale (level 1) activation of all primary and secondary agencies supporting a State’s Emergency Operations Center. We are prepared to arrive to any disaster scene within the Continental United States (CONUS) within 48 hours following activation, supporting prime contractors and others rendering aid to communities in need.
Our food service facilities and equipment meet and exceed established government health and safety codes, and our personnel are experts at ensuring professionalism while preparing, delivering and serving hot and cold meals, as well as ensuring custody and security for food service operations.
We make sure that all food safety provisions (sanitation, safe handling, dispensing, storage) are adhered to for general populations, can customize for special diets, and prepare ceremonial meals for residents whose religious beliefs require the adherence to religious dietary laws, accommodate therapeutic medical diets as prescribed by appropriate clinicians.

Over decades of work in the private sector facilitating deployed on-site food and event services, we have developed an expertise at continuously identifying and removing defective products while minimizing variability in employee processes when implementing industry best practices. These efforts have permitted us to achieve stable and predictable results that have garnered a reputation for impeccable food service quality while feeding millions of meals per year at thousands of diverse events and locations, as well as all of the supporting service aspects, deployed equipment and logistics.
We handle all the related details for properly storing, receiving, and inventorying food. We inspect incoming shipments for damage, contamination, and infestation. We ensure perpetual inventory levels and proper receipt, and storage and issuance of goods that are critical to maintaining quality and controlling costs.
Our teams ensure the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) for the day-to-day operation of facilities, the delivery of food and social services, and all the management and quality control actions required to meet the terms of the contract. Our Quality Control Plan (QCP) employs a comprehensive program of inspections and monitoring actions to ensure the highest food quality, safety, custody and security.
We also have experience working with a Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) to inspect and accept services provided, and ensure high performance standards identified in the Performance Requirements Summary (PRS)
We employ multiple project managers with a minimum of ten years of expertise, and select the optimal staff for deployment based on the skills and conditions required. Under the supervision of a Food Services Administrator (FSA), our Cook Supervisors (CS) and Cook Foreman (CF) lead operations to provide all residents, responders and recovery personnel a nutritionally balanced diet that is prepared and presented by a sanitary and hygienic food service operation and focus on safety and quality assurance in all aspects of food service and dining room operations.
RK Emergency Management Support works with private operators and appropriate jurisdictions to enhance preparedness on an ongoing basis. We work to ensure readiness for integration of support services around a variety of functional needs, and our key management personnel are trained in National Incident Management Systems (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) to facilitate rapid integration.
